The Under 14s after their win against Kellyville. Final score Newtown 7.9-51 defeated Kellyville 6.6-42. Our special 'World Cup' guest for the day was Alex Garcia [on the right in jeans] a Spanish exchange student from Madrid. He stayed with Oscar Read for 3 weeks and attended IGS for that time. Alex even strapped on his footy boots and trained with the team. He watched the Swans play out at ANZ stadium and said " he loves the game as it is very fast and full of action. It may even take over our game one day" he added.
